REASONS NOT TO USE A TRIPOD
TO STABILIZE YOUR FIFTH WHEEL CAMPER

Most RV ‘ers say it doesn’t get the job done.
2.
It may be difficult to set up if the site is not level.
3.
If it has a threaded adjustment to compensate for unlevel sites, the adjusting mechanism is loose and negates the benefit of the tripod concept.
4.
It takes up a lot of valuable storage space.
5.
The addition of special wheel chocks doesn’t get the job done.
6.
The addition of slide out stabilizers or jacks doesn’t get the job done.
7.
The slide out jack stands are not recommended by Good Sam or many manufacturers.
8.
The jack stands take up valuable storage space.
9.
The total cost will likely be over $300 by the time you purchase the additional devices to go with it.
10. You will spent about 30 minutes of additional set up time each time you set up or 4 hours for every 8 times you set up.
11. You will spend about 15 minutes of additional tear out time or 2 hours for every 8 times you set up.
